The Remo People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. This role is a strategic partner to the leadership of the business, driving the development of a strategy aligned with our organizational and people needs. This role is also responsible for the execution of the people strategy, operational plans, and roadmap for the business unit, working in partnership with key stakeholders. As an ambassador for Remo culture, you’ll work closely with a variety of people across all departments and be the 'go to' person for building a great place to work. You’ll create and manage a wide variety of people programs and initiatives to drive engagement throughout all aspects of the employee experience and enable our teams to do their best work. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy operational initiatives and projects targeted at improving employee experience
- Establish opportunities for meaningful team engagement by reimagining current company events, activities and daily interactions
- Develop a deep understanding of what contributes to our team’s current and future success and work with senior leaders to build and adopt the necessary people programs to support our continued growth
- Responsible for system enhancement creating efficiency and effectiveness of the operations as required
- Be a trusted and reliable resource for our team by effectively troubleshooting both people and operational issues
- Oversee benefits administration, annual open enrollment, HR compliance and other miscellaneous HR processes
- Manage the day-to-day work of the People Operations team, performing operational duties required to keep the process running consistently
- Be accountable for overall compliance with local legislations from HR perspective
- Mentor, provide and organise training and development to optimize performance, create organizational depth and individual growth for members
- Oversee and develop the communication of and training on all People operational process efficiencies and improvements; develop decks for training and documentation
- Create and maintain process documentation for all People Operations processes and provide training to team members as applicable
- Manage a people operations team to cover core HR functions: employee relations & experience, HRIS and data, compensation and benefits, training, development and onboarding.
- Work alongside our Head of Talent to collaborate on projects regarding recruitment, employer branding and diversity
- Own all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding operations
- Take a data driven approach to guide strategic decisions within the People Operations function (i.e. engagement survey results, retention/turnover stats, etc.)
- Update and maintain the organization chart and create clear pathways for career development for each team member
