Business Development Representative - (North America) (Remote)

Preferable Location: Toronto, Boston, Vancouver, Seattle   |   Full Time

Remo is an innovative virtual platform that is redefining human interaction online. Remo provides individuals the ability to create memorable virtual events that rival in-person gatherings through free-flowing networking and highly interactive presentations and speaker panels. 

We are looking for amazing individuals to join the sales team to help fuel our next level of growth. We are a motivated, driven team that rewards action and promotes collaboration across the entire sales and marketing teams. The Business Development Representative will be the first point of contact for all leads at Remo. The candidate will be a Remo expert who is able to demo the platform, answer questions, and guide prospects to take advantage of the Remo platform.


Responsibilities:

  • Quickly learn the sales process to become a contributing member of the team within two weeks.

  • Conduct account development best practices with email, phone, and social touches using Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others.

  • Be an expert on the Remo platform who is able to answer questions and showcase the platform's capabilities.

  • Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with decisions makers.

  • Work closely with the sales team in the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches.

  • Provide insights to, and collaborate with, marketing to ensure conversion rates are best in class across the funnel.

  • Thrive on being a member of the founding team, focused on building a world-class sales culture.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or related field.

  • 1-2 years in outbound-focused sales or any other customer-oriented background (support, customer service)
